Performance prediction is a design time activity used to estimate the performance of a software system in advance to mitigate performance issues after deployment. The Palladio Simulator allows to model and evaluate software systems at design time based on architectural models before implementations. iObserve utilizes the Palladio metamodels for its runtime models and can import Palladio models as initial setup for the observed system.
